Spring Soccer finished up the first Saturday of June. Andrew and Ashley so loved their games, teams, coaches and practices. It was a great season.
Love this Ashley girl to the moon. She runs as hard and as fast as she can, and she is kicking the ball a handful of times each game. She isn't aggressive in the sport but, she has fun, feels confident and has an attitude of gold.
The six pictures below are a set that have to be looked at in order. Remember that Ashley LOVES to be the one who retrieves the ball when it goes out of bounds and give it to coach.

Picture 4: She is mad! He is happy! But, she hasn't given up yet.

Andrew has had a great season! He did great the first half of the season and the second half looked like this:
Game 5: 2 goals. His team won 4 -1. Game 6: 0 goals. His team tied 1-1. Game 7: 6 or 7 goals. His team had an embarrassing win 12-0. Game 8: 2 goals. We lost 6-12. That was the game we learned that Andrew is not a gracious loser. It was an embarrassing public display and we are working on it now. So, he totaled 25 goals in 7 games, along with several of good assists, many, many blocks and generally good sportsmanship. ~ Here he is at the last game celebrating his goal!

Handsome Andrew and his team. Next year the girls will be on an all girl team so, we'll look a bit different.
