September 25th, 2016 - Nate turns 2! (And the end of September)

Sunday, September 25, 2016
Nathan went ahead and broke my heart by turning 2. This little boy lights up my life. I am totally enamored by his sweet little face and just about everything he does. He is as sweet as he is adorable. He must be the baby of the family because all of his siblings are so good to him. Nate understands everything and is saying more words. He is a worker man and he loves his tools! He loves to "clean" and "fix" our house. He loves baby dolls and our June puppy. He is a wonderfully easy boy; he sleeps great at night, takes a 3 hour nap each afternoon, likes to eat a variety of foods and gives great hugs and kisses. He loves mom and dad and all of his siblings too. He is ticklish, likes to jump and run, and loves to play with toys with others and on his own. He loves to throw, shoot and catch a ball. He has a great little throw! He has a big smile and is so cute. He loves to be read to each night sitting on Dave or my lap while he cuddles his 2 identical gray elephant blankets and drinks a sippy cup of whole milk. And then we brush his teeth (which he doesn't love but, does ok with) and sing him "Rock a Bye". He wakes up happy, goes to bed happy, smiles first and fastest and is an adorable delight to be with. Happy Birthday Nato Potato. We love you!

On his birthday we went to church in the morning, a little playtime with bubbles and a nap in the afternoon an then family over for dinner in the evening.
After church bubbles. This boy loves bubbles!
Kate really does take great care of the babies. She especially loves to dote on Charlie and Lydia.
This picture makes me laugh. I caught him in the funniest pose!
Nate loves June!
Hawkeye came to party too!
Some football for the big kids
Nate didn't understand that it was his birthday. At present time he sure loved that he was getting new toys though.
Kate had a late gifts from Nana and Papa too. That made her feel happy!
I called him Birthday-Zilla because he did not want anyone to touch his new lawn mower or vacuum. He put them in his shopping cart and screamed if someone came close.
He slept with the lawn mower and vacuum off and on for a week or so.
Nate has brought so much happiness and sweetness to our family. I didn't even know how much I needed a 5th baby until he came along. Our family is so wonderful, I am blessed beyond words.
The rest of September continued with busy school days and soccer Saturdays.
Katie kept playing her best and made us beam.
Just being silly at home
Nate loves to give June a dog treat. He doesn't mean to be but he's a little rough with her so I like to let him give her treats to reward her for taking it without retaliating.
And this Andrew boy. Goodness look at that handsome face. I love him inside and out to infinity.
