Hailey and Kate have lots of playdates with the Johnsen girls. September is wonderful because they can play out in the backyard and always have fun.
Nate LOVES bubbles. He especially loved this giant bottle of bubbles because each time he could pull the bubble wand out quickly and make big bubbles, without needing help.
Another beautiful day, another playdate. This time Ashley had Nate Jones and Jake Bjorklund and Hailey had Lucy. Andrew was off at a friend's.
Dave got tickets to the Fair for our family and more family too. It was a really fun night! We took cousins Lizzie and Will along too and Nana and Papa met us there. Andrew didn't come with us, he chose to go to a friend activity instead. We missed him!
Dave and Ashley coming down the big yellow slide! The kids from Hailey and up all went, plus Dave and me. It's a fun little ride.
As we were pulling up to park at the Fair Ashley announced that she wasn't wearing any shoes! Lucky for all of us, there is a Payless Shoe Store right next to the fair. She and I ran in and bought a pair of white church shoes on clearance for $8. Ashley had brought $5 to spend at the Fair that she put towards her shoes. It ended up being pretty funny.
Andrew captured a preying mantis on the way home from school. The kids ride the bus to school but, they like to walk home more than half the days. They end up coming home at the exact same time, or even a few minutes faster, when they walk.
Katie really hustles and gets in there in her soccer games. Her team is light green and you can see her bright pink socks working hard. Over the 8 game season she had about 5 goals, and her team probably totaled 15. She did so great.
Our neighbors, the Maxfields, had an owl in their backyard tree for a couple of days. We had fun watching it and taking pictures.
This sweet little boy loves to play with water.
Hailey had her pictures done at Busath. They turned out beautiful.
And a very silly playdate for Andrew with James Bekker and Landon Robirds
