December Fun

Our annual visit to the same Santa we've been visiting since Andrew's first Christmas.
We were ready to go and Andrew ran over to Santa to tell him a few things. Andrew is growing up way too fast but, he is still my sweet, little boy too.
The lights at Temple Square. We went during Thanksgiving weekend. It was warm and as crowded as Disneyland.
Hailey's picture face is amazing lately.
Here it is up close. I laugh every time I see it.
A little variation
 The Macy's Christmas Candy Windows
Andrew, Ashley and Dave at another fun Jazz game
Dave's company Christmas Party at the Gallivan Center. We love visiting Santa.
Ashley and Andrew were awesome skaters. They loved it and didn't need any help. They went around and around and around and were super sad when we needed to go. Since then they've asked to go skating about every other day. Hailey needed help but, liked it a lot too.
Katie and Nathan were home missing the fun.
At the ward Christmas Party. Here are babies Nate and Tate! Nathan is 1 month older than Tate.
This year Dave, Andrew and Ashley have passes to ski at Park City. They've been up 3 times and are having fun.
 Hailey
Grandpa Bob and Bonnie's Christmas Party always has the best games. This year was Ugly Sweater. Dave and I both borrowed Joe's sweaters and Dave looked amazing in his snug kitty sweatshirt.
Decorating Gingerbread Houses
A sweet letter to Santa from Andrew
Our Elf on the Shelf is named Candy Cane.  He is nice, not naughty. He moved most nights and was great at taking letters or packages that the kids made for Santa and delivering them.
Katie loves to dress herself. This is the outfit she put on hoping to go out and play in the cold.
Riding Rudolph
Nathan at 2 1/2 months. He has such beautiful clear skin and eyes.
Such a happy boy all the time
Andrew wore this Santa hat much of the month!
Ashley and Hailey after a princess birthday party where the real Elsa and Anna were guests too. They were so excited to go, especially Hailey.
Hailey has ben insistent on choosing her clothes lately and I'm so busy I just go with it. Her preschool teacher probably wonders about us. In this outfit I love the 1 leg warmer and wrong-foot sandals but her beautiful dimple smile makes it work.
Andrew just finished a season of indoor winter soccer. Can you believe that I only took 2 pictures and this is the best one! Ha. It was a team of friends who are all rec only players and they didn't hold a single practice. Each game was horribly painful to watch as Andrew and his team were defeated badly by comp teams. Most games ended in 10+ goals for the other team and 0 or 1 for us. Andrew made it to 7 of the 8 games and scored 3 of his teams 8 goals over the season, definitely the most on his team. He did as well as can be expected but, we regret even doing it because it was such a blow to be up against such trained teams while never receiving any instruction.
The Sunday before Christmas in Primary. Some children were picked to have lines and costumes for the Nativity. In our family it was Ashley (she's almost always the lucky one). She had 3 lines and liked the costume too. The other children were the chorus of angels. Parents came to watch. Hailey and her darling friend Mary spent some time running around giggling.
Ashley is wearing the stripes. Dave and I could hardly recognize her.
At the end she joined the chorus of angels.
Andrew thought his Mow-hawk halo was pretty clever
At first I felt like Nathan looked like a far Andrew, then I felt more of a Katie resemblance. Now I'm seeing a lot of similarities to Hailey. In truth, Nathan looks like Nathan but, it's fun to see how they are each similar and different.
Christmas Adam with Grandma Suzanne and Family. We ate Dinner at Little America and then crossed the street to see the Grand America Christmas Windows and Gingerbread House.
Ready to go to the Price Family Christmas Eve Party
Big brother tickle torture
The Price girl cousins. Hailey wasn't having it!
Hailey and William
Liz and Kate
Ashley, Joe and Andrew
Dave and I copied and borrowed the supplies for the games straight from Grandpa Bob and Bonnie. They were a hit.
Singing the 12 Days of Christmas. Ashley and 2nd cousin Ashlyn were the 6 Geese a Laying
Andrew was the 9 Pipers Piping
Sweet Mary was angelic. Ashley wanted to be the donkey again this year. She is not your typical girly girl.
Merry Christmas!
