All ready for the big day!
Gifts for Grandparents in the corner
Art work presents left out for Santa
Our Elf named Candy Cane brought his usual pile of Candy Canes plus a nice note.
On Christmas morning Andrew woke up first at about 7:45 I think. He went to Ashley's room to get her up. Right outside their bedrooms they saw a table with the first presents; Fish! Our first real pets! They were so excited! There are 4 and they are named Black Out, Snowflake, Mr. Grinch (who is mean) and Tiny Tim. Then Hailey got up around 8 and we went downstairs.
Katie slept for a long time. The kids opened their stockings and had to wait for what they thought was eternity for Katie to wake up at about 9.
After a warm and dry December we were so lucky to wake up to a really white snowy Christmas!
My 5 precious gifts!
The one present Hailey asked for consistently was a Rainbow Blanket. She was thrilled though it hasn't replaced her beloved pink blanket at all.
The only thing Ashley asked for was an art set. Easy Peasy. She was thrilled too.
Nana and Papa came over to watch the fun too. Look at that sweet baby, I can't get enough of his cuteness!
Andrew opened up this nice sweatshirt and could hardly believe he got lame clothes for a present!
Hailey loves Ninja Turtles. She doesn't know much about them but, her cousin William loves them so she has for the past several months too. She loves her giant coloring sheets.
We tried to buy less this year but when it was all opened and up on the couches I realized it was just like always - a lot!
Andrew and Ashley's loot!
Hailey and Katie's piles.
Dave got some new suits last month and some shoes. I got new silverware, some perfume. I bought several small presents for Dave and I (like ties, back massager, kitchen things, makeup) and put them out for the kids to pick and wrap up for us.
After gifts we ate a yummy breakfast with Nana and Papa too. Then, we had all morning and afternoon to just relax.

Andrew put on his new jersey and went straight to playing his new Wii game, Super Smash Bros., probably his favorite gift. He wanted an XBox but I told him all month he really wouldn't be getting one. Maybe next year.
Ashley and Hailey went straight to art.
Katie loved her new ducks. It's so funny and wonderful how happy they are with the small gifts.
We were outside to enjoy the snow pretty quickly too.
Such a sweet boy!
When he woke up it was just over the top cuteness!
Ashley also really wanted this Nerf Arrow Gun. She loves it and Andrew does too.
Then it was time to get dressed and go to Nana and Papa's house.
My pretty Ashley girl
Hailey zonked out for a good afternoon nap
And cleaned up really cute too!
Andrew is growing up fast and is a wonderful boy.
Our Family at Nana's house
We ate a nice dinner then Nana had a couple activities for the kids, then presents and stockings.
Hailey and Kate coloring some more
All the kids liked their gifts from Nana and Papa. Noteworthy was that Andrew got a real camera from Nana, which he LOVED! Hailey got a dog that walks and Kate got a dog that rides on a remote controlled skateboard. Those have been huge hits at home!
The cousins: Hailey, Ashley, Kate, Callie, William, Liz, Nathan, Andrew and Joe
Another great Christmas come and gone just like that! Merry Christmas!
