Ahh, sweet, beautiful Hailey darling. Your family loves you so much. You are a wonderful, happy, pleasant girl and we are so amazed that we get to be your parents.
Hailey's birthday is August 30th. We had a family party on the Sunday evening before to celebrate both Hailey and Andrew's birthdays (his is September 1st). We had lots of dinner, lots of cake and icecream, a pinata and presents. It was simple and really fun.

I made each kid a number cake, since I couldn't let Ashley be the only one not celebrated. They turned out really cute.

At one years old Hailey loves...being in warm water, cuddling, her soft pink blankie, sucking her thumb when she's sleepy, crawling, climbing up stairs, standing up, her brother and sister, when Daddy comes home, being held by mommy, babbling, eating all the time, her bottle, Being chased and tickled. Hailey is a great climber, clapper, and loves to nod yes. She loves toys and stuffed animals, and tries to eat everything. She is easy to please, flexible and delightful to be with. I can already tell that she is kind. She is a great napper and sleeper. She has 8 big teeth, bright blue eyes, tiny features, amazing hair, and the cutest little body. She hates having her fingernails trimmed, her diaper changed, her clothes put on, and her carseat buckles done, or anything else that slows her down. When Hailey was new she had lots of nicknames. The ones that stuck are Haystack, Hazel, and Hay Hay. Andrew calls her Hailey or Haystack. Ashley first called her Haddy and now calls her Halle. We love her endlessly, and even though it's hard to believe she is already one, it's even harder to believe that we ever lived without her.
