Christmas was such a wonderful, fun day for our family. The kids had been up late the night before. That morning Andrew came into my room a little after 8 and said "I'm going to go see if Santa came". I popped out of bed and we went down to see. Ashley and Hailey woke up soon after that and then Katie a little later.

We opened stockings first. The stockings were full of fun things that would've been enough to make them all happy. Katie loves balls and was thrilled with the stocking stuffer balls.
We had Christmas shaped pancakes for breakfast and then started opening presents around 10 I think. Dave's Parents came to enjoy watching the fun about half way through.
Katie was the only one allowed to touch our Elf Candy Cane without ruining the magic, and the other kids got a big kick out of watching her abuse him.
Our kids are young and everything is magical. They are also so very, very easy to please and are thrilled every gift. We open the gifts one at a time and it's fun to see how excited they are for each other too, especially sweet Ashley who always cheers others on. Andrew had a big year of Legos. He was most excited about his 2 big sets this year; The Lego Chima Temple of Chi and a Batman Bat Cave something or other and a checkers board game and Lego Sticker book. He wanted Checkers so much and we've played a lot since. He also got several mid-size lego sets, a skateboard, a money counter, several board games, a leapster game and some other smaller things.
Ashley had one gift she really wanted, a Lego Friends Cruise Boat. We only wish it hadn't been the very first present she opened! She was a little tornado of excitement jumping and screaming all around. Ashley is at the very easiest age to buy for and it was hard not to buy her the most. Her other favorite gifts were several small Lego Friends sets, Palace Pets, Horses in a Stable, Dinosaurs, Doc McStuffins things, and her own pink Razor Scooter.
Hailey is 3 and still happy with small things. She got a lot of small things, even dollar store gifts and some other bigger things that would've been for Ashley if we hadn't already purchased our Ashley limit. Her notable things were her Snow White playhouse and people, Doc McStuffins, Sophia Doll, Brave figures, and Daniel Tiger train set. She was so easy.
Katie got a total of 4 small presents and was her happy self. It was hard to even find her 4 presents. She is the youngest of 4 in a family with waaaayyy too many toys for every age division and gender. She did love her new cat, and so did Hailey!
Ashley opened her big dog first and Hailey was jealous for the only time of the day. I was pretty proud of myself for having a matching one ready for her to open.

After gifts Grandpa Bob and Bonnie came over fun gifts too. Andrew was thrilled to get the Wii Resort game, Ashley loved her new Princess Anna doll and Olaf, Hailey got a cute Doc McStuffins dress up and Katie got a new baby doll stroller walker to help her practice her walking. Then we had all afternoon to play at home and go no where. Hailey and Katie both caught nice naps. It was so nice and I couldn't believe how fast the day went.
We made it up to the Price's at about 6 and dove straight into more presents!
After dinner we opened even more in the stockings.

My kids were beyond spoiled and couldn't have even come up with another gift idea. Between three sets of grandparents and their own parents it was probably a bit too much this year. They had fun all month long going from party to party, each with more and more gifts. But, they mostly loved spending time with each of their beloved cousins. And Ashley told me many times that she didn't care about gifts, because Christmas is all about Jesus' Birthday. I just hope someday she can really understand what that means. We felt incredibly blessed and grateful to the brim.
