We were thrilled this December when Dave had extra vacation days he needed to use up. In December we went skiing once at Snowbird and four times at Alta's ski for cheap at 3, which is really good for our family with two baby girls needing babysitting at home. It's such a thrill to see my kids ski down the mountain and have such fun with it. They are awesome to be with.
All done with a ski Day at Snowbird on the day after Christmas. We had a great time but, it was really icy everywhere! Can't imagine anyone more fun to ski with than these two (and Dave, of course)!
Andrew's top front tooth was such a Fraggle Rock wiggly thing, just was hanging on by a small thread. We thought for sure it would be out by Christmas but, it hang in. The following Sunday night we were up at Nana and Papa's for dinner and Andrew was wrestling and rolling around with his big cousins. When he looked up from the dog pile Aunt Kim noticed that his tooth was gone! We searched a bit but couldn't find it so we think he probably swallowed it, who knows! He and Dave made a pretend tooth out of tape at home and it was good enough for the Tooth Fairy to exchange for $2.
Dave took Andrew and Ashley up to the Nielsen's for an amazing afternoon of Horse Back Riding and Snowmobiling. They both loved every bit of it. Ashley was especially excited to be riding, brushing and feeding horses and Andrew was especially thrilled to ride the snowmobiles! We owe Josh and Mandy a huge thank you for giving our kids such a fun experience!

We told the kids we needed to give away some toys to make room for so many new ones. They got to work and did end up clearing a little bit out so everything new could fit...or at least we made it fit. Ashley asked how to spell 'poor' and then 'people' and I had no idea why, then she finished it off with toys and made this slightly offensive sign to put with the things we were giving away. I was choking trying to stop my laugh. She has a good heart.

On New Years Day the kids gathered chunks of ice from down the street and pushed it all the way home to add to their snow cave/fort. It was so warm that we started shedding layers. A perfect day to be outside. I don't know what's going on with me but this year I am loving the snow! I've always loved it for skiing and this year I'm loving everything about it and always even looking forward to more!
The kids wanted jump ropes for Christmas so they could rig up the swivel bikes again.

This spunky 3 year old became the world's cutest sunbeam! She hated nursery and had only started to tolerate it for the past few months. We were all thrilled that she could finally move up to primary! She loves it!
We had a fantastic Christmas break and only wish it had lasted much, much longer!
Hailey has gotten so much more brave!
Our family's Little Mama, Ashley, guides HayHay to her Sunbeam row each week. Ashley has a great gift of exceptional caring, sweetness and mothering.
Katie is 15 months now and is having even more fun now that she can walk everywhere and get into more!
