Labor Day Weekend

Dave had Labor Day off plus 2 more days after that. We decided we could have lots of fun just doing things here, and we did! We went to Cherry Hill (again) and had a great time. Have you been to Cherry Hill? It's so fun! Make sure to go next summer.

Andrew loves Pirates, pirate boats, treasure, cannons, etc - Lucky for us the whole kid area is Pirate Land!Andrew likes the kiddie slide, which is perfect, but this trip we learned that Andrew could go with us on 2 of the big slides. He went down at least 20 times, really. Dave and I took turns taking him every other time. Andrew was pretty quiet during the first few times down, then he'd come out laughing and giddy. Then he got brave and would shout wahoo and say funny pirate words in the dark tunnel parts. We don't have pictures of us on the big slides but I wish we did, his happy smile at the end was so fun. It's a blast!

Then there's are little water lovin' baby Ashley. She likes to go down the kiddie slide too and playing in the pool. She even took one trip down the big slide with Dave, which I could not believe the lifeguards allowed, (not the picture below, that's the kiddie slide)

The picture below cracks me up. Notice Ashley...well I should say notice Dave reaching for Ashley's little white hat on top of her head that is submerged in the water. Don't worry, Dave pulled her up. We have to really watch that crazy girl, she loves to jump in the water. She get herself into way more trouble than I ever expect, everyday!
We also had a BBQ with family, went to the Zoo to see all the new baby animals, the Children's Museum, and the Park. We also went to a wedding with Hula Dancers and a Fire Dancer, which was pretty fun to see. It was a great long weekend, and it was so nice having extra time with Dave around.
