The night before Ashley's birthday eve (so June 20th), Hailey wasn't tired when everyone else went to bed. She stayed up late working on making the kitchen table just perfect for Ashley to wake up to on her Birthday Eve. Hailey was meticulous in her work. Hailey is very giving and her talents include gift making, gift giving, party planning and holiday decorating!
Kate and Hailey each had swim lessons for this week. Hailey loves swim lessons. Katie did not. She was happy when it was over and she could be out of the water!
Happy Birthday Ashley! She had a wonderful day, all day. First activity was a little indoor soccer game with her siblings.

Andrew, Ashley and Hailey going into to Mrs. Palmer's Art Camp. It was Monday-Thursday that week for a couple hours each day. They loved the projects and had a wonderful time. The sun was so bright they could hardly keep their eyes open for a picture.
At the end of the week they brought home these projects. Sadly, I can't remember which set of projects belongs to which kid because they are end up looking so similar.
Ashley's Birthday party was on her birthday at Jump Around Utah. We had a full house! The venue says they allow 30 kids total and we were close at 32. Luckily they aren't strict. Ashley had 24 friends come to her party plus her 4 wonderful siblings, plus 4 cousins Joe, Callie, Liz and Will. Since it was summer she had about 15 friends who were traveling and couldn't come, and about half of those were some of her favorite friends which is no fun but, that's how it goes in the wonderful summertime and we couldn't have them all anyway!

Present Time! I tried to take a picture of Ashley with each guest. I missed several but, it's fun to see Ashley with many of her friends individually.
When the party was over the kids were all sweaty from so much jumping and happy too. We packed up and headed home. Here she is in the car ready to go. She loved her fun party!
At home we opened presents as a family. Hailey had made several presents for Ashley too. Ashley especially loved getting more stuffed animals called Beanie Boos with big sparkly eyes.
Ashley is a beautiful, happy, ambitious, adventurous, kind, funny, energetic, hard-working, talented, athletic, thoughtful, sweet girl. She is fun to be with and has tons of friends. She is always willing to try new activities, make new friends and learn new things. She cares about others. She wants to be good and tries hard to choose the right. We love her so very much and only wish she could stay small a longer.
