I can hardly believe Ashley is already 7 years old. She is an enthusiastic, fun loving, go-getter. She is kind, thoughtful, sweet and giving. She is loving, caring, inclusive and looks for ways to build people up. She loves animals like no one I've ever seen. She loves to learn about animals, care for animals, be around animals, talk about animals and read about animals. She is well liked. She likes to play with lots and lots of friends either all at once or alone too, boys and girls. But she doesn't like to play with the same people repetitively, she'd rather keep rotating through her long list of friends. She loves her cousins more than any friend. She eats tons of fruit and very little meat. Her favorite color right now is red. She hates having her hair brushed but loves having long hair. She is a Daddy's girl! She has excellent hand writing and is a fast runner. Her daring personality gives her an edge in activities like diving and makes her love horseback riding, bumper tubing, climbing trees, snow skiing, boogie boarding and jumping off things. She wants to go anywhere, do anything and be part of everything. She loves to learn new things, enjoys reading, has an active imagination, loves to be active and try new things, loves make believe on her own, is a fantastic artist and a wonderful sister and friend.
Her birthday started out with swim lessons at Cottonwood Heights. Then we went to Smith's for a few last minute things for her party. She was thrilled to get a free birthday cupcake and ice cream cone.
That afternoon she had a big fun Dolphin water party. She had about 24 friends come plus siblings and cousins for her party; 14 girls and 10 boys. Another 5 girls and 2 boys were out of town or couldn't come. With such a fun group she felt very celebrated. We rented a bigger water bounce house, played games with water balloons, played limbo on the trampoline, ate ocean themed snacks and let the kids just have fun together. It was a lot of fun and a big success!
Nate was a cute party guest
Then Ashley opened all her presents from the family. She had tons of presents but, don't let that fool you, they were all small and several were even $1 painting projects. She is so easy to please. She most loved her new beanie boo stuffed animals.
That night she and Andrew built a fort to sleep in and colored a coloring project gift she had received. She loves Andrew so much and loves to spend time with him, especially when he is loving to spend time with her. It was the perfect way to end her birthday. I love you Ashley!
