May is a non-stop month! We had a busy, busy, busy, fun and rainy May.
Nathan started the month off as a handsome, sweet 7 month old loving to grab anything he can reach. He continues to to be the world's most social, smiley baby and such a cuddly lovey. I can't get enough of kissing his sweet little face, enjoying his adorably fun personality and squeezing his perfect little body. He is a mommy's boy and I love everything about him.
Baseball began in April but, the bulk of baseball happens in May. Andrew played so awesome all season. His hitting and fielding were both consistently great and we felt really proud of his hard play and happy that he was having so much fun and gaining confidence. His team went undefeated and rarely had games that were even close.
Nate and Haze snoozing in Mom and Dad's spots!
A Lemonade Stand down on the corner. We went to the corner since our cul-de-sac has so few visitors. I only made them one pitcher of lemonade; they drank half and sold the rest. I was so impressed with how many people stopped and were so kind.
Afternoon church wears us out! Katie found this hiding place behind a couch and was asleep in no time.
Hailey and Ashley have both loved their gymnastics his Spring. I asked Hailey which lessons she wants to do next year. Dance? Nope. Skiing? Nope. Preschool? Yes! Tumbling? Yes!
We loved the Payson Temple Open House.
It was so beautiful and a fun experience for our family. The quote of the night was Ashley. We walked through the incredibly beautiful sealing room and I explained that it was a room where a couple would get married. I said something like 'Wow, Ashley isn't this room beautiful? It's so fancy!' and she said 'Not that fancy...where are the doves flying around?'. Apparently Ashley's wedding will need doves.
Ashley keeping busy during Andrew's soccer game
Some of Ashley's art work from school. A few of these are projects I did with the class for my monthly art.
Andrew's art from school. Again, some of these are projects I did with the class, which was really fun for me.
Sweet Hailey girl working hard to spell her name. Her instinct is to do it backwards...maybe because she' a lefty?
After church on Mother's Day
On our way to tumbling with Elmo too
We love to play pirates in the beautiful garden and rocks at the house on the corner
Ashley had a dance recital. She dances with great creativity, sweetness and happiness. She did very well! I was not at all impressed with the studio as a whole; nearly every dance in the performance was very poor. Unprepared dancers and poor dance quality, which was interesting. But, Ashley really did do well with a lot of energy, a bright smile and graceful dancing.
Ashley looks up to Andrew, always
Fun at the Upland Terrace Carnival
Hailey is awesome. When there are long lines for the bounce houses she just slides in among strangers all by herself and she's so cute and little that no one ever tells her to go to the back o the line
~
Dave spent a lot of the carnival holding sleeping Katie

Another Sunday
Nathan has been working on sitting up for a long time now. He really had it pretty mastered by mid-May when he was a little less than 8 months old.
Hailey's dance recital. My camera was on a strange setting and I didn't notice until afterwards. She was excited to perform but, when she got on stage she became a little shy and nervous. She did well and had fun and we are proud of her for going out of her comfort zone.

Hailey also had an end of the year Preschool Program. She has loved going to Miss Dana's preschool! She did great singing and doing her part.
Keeping Nate entertained
Hailey and carpool buddy Rachel.
Hailey's preschool class at Miss Dana's, with Grandma Barbara assisting. Hailey liked this preschool very much! Hailey is front row, furthest right.
Baseball picture Day. Ashley is the only girl, top row left side. She had a lot of fun!
For Memorial Day weekend we went to Las Vegas and stayed at a really fun hotel called Tahiti Village. The pools were just perfect and fun and that's how we spent most our time. There was a game room with air hockey, table soccer and games that our kids couldn't get enough of. We had 2 huge adjoining rooms and loved having so much space, we even had 2 kitchens. Andrew and Ashley loved having their own room.
We went to see a few interested things on the Strip but, it was hot and a lot of walking and not actually all that interesting so we headed back to more fun at our hotel.
The hotel pool had sand beach that was just awesome
Asleep waiting for a table for dinner.
We thought the M&M store would be fun. It is very cute and the kids did like it but, it is so expensive it's silly. I only let the kids get some candy. It was about $25 for about $3 worth of M&M's.
Katie was getting into the Vegas spirit
We walked around the beautiful Temple grounds on Sunday morning
The hotel also had a fun, long lazy river that lit up with Tiki torches at night. The kids loved it!
And more fun at the beach! It was so great.
Best group shot we could pull off
Katie did not like the lazy river. She preferred the steps.
Ashley won this scooter at the school Road to Success reading raffle. She is always lucky so it shouldn't have surprised us. It sure made her feel special.
Hailey is an accessory girl
Ashley also lost her first tooth! She was hoping and hoping it would happen before the end of the school year so she could get on Mrs. Baxter's tooth chart. She was the last kid in class and was thrilled!
The Fun Run. Here go the first graders!
Ashley has had tummy aches all month and walked for much of the race. She came in about half way and had lots of fun with her friends.
Ashley and Liam. Sweet Liam moved away this summer for 3 years while his mom goes to Dental residency. His mom is my friend from college and Ashley and Liam met in preschool. She loves him so. He always invites her as the only girl to his birthday party and they love to have playdates too. She was the only girl at his going away party and she is pretty sad to say goodbye.
Fun Playing Outside
Ashley's last soccer game of the year. She has a great time playing and is getting better all the time.
Coach Mike has been an awesome coach for 3 years. He will start coaching Hailey's little team next year. Ashley is heading to all-girl play with a new coach.
We broke out the new water slide! Wahoo! I've always wanted one and bought it last fall on a great clearance.
Andrew had his buddy Joey over to play too
