June 2017 Part 1

I look forward to summer break all year long. It is so wonderful to have the kids home and to fill our days with fun things. We attempted scripture study in the summer. It's a work in progress and we are more inconsistent than not but, we try.
Andrew was selected to be on the Millcreek A Allstar Baseball team again this year. He had a great coach, Coach Tawten (not sure how to spell that) plus Jared Johnsen and Dave to help at games. Coach is a seminary teacher with free summers and so the team was able to practice at least 4 days a week, usually early each morning. So, even though I don't have pictures of it, Andrew was waking up early most June mornings for baseball.

June's first Bday was June 3rd. Hailey made her a BDay crown but, I'm not sure she liked it as much as we did.
$1 Bowling at Fat Cats. Andrew brought Landon and Charlie. Ashley brought Alice and Jake. We all had fun.
And $1 mini-golf
Nate loves to pretend play the arcade games
Backyard play. I love the long, hot days of summertime and seeing my kids play and play with lots of friends.
I like this cute selfie of Katie. She is sweet, beautiful, smart as can be and funny!
A Katie playdate. Kate is the one jumping in the center, with a heart on her swim shirt.
Nate loves to squirt people with the bounce house water gun

We had a Birthday party for June the Sunday after her birthday. Really, we just hosted the Price family dinner and had a dog cake. We love an excuse to throw a party!
June got a couple dog presents
Doesn't June look like she loves her birthday party hat!
Nathan
Jojo and Hailey
June even got a small birthday picture wall
Nathan playing during a neighborhood Walk-n-Talk
I love this Zebra Ashley drew
Hailey is very creative at making paper crafts, wrapping gifts and things like that. She made another version of her costume from her dance recital. Her costume was a hot pink Cheshire Cat and this replica was pretty adorable and clever.
We headed to the Bees Game
Riding the free train around the outfield is one of the kids' favorite parts of the Bees games.
I really don't think Nathan could be any cuter
Hailey the party planner invited a big group over. Her play dates are almost like birthday parties and she loves it.
A trip to Wheeler Farm. Andrew thought it sounded so lame but, once we got there he actually had a great time.
Nate laughed and laughed when Dave pushed him fast across the driveway
Kim and Russ left for a week long trip to Hawaii without their kids. We were so excited to have the cousins at our house for the first 4 days (except Joe, who is 16 and pretty independent, we just saw him a little here and there). The kids all had the best time together.  When the 4 days were up I was actually super sad that I hadn't just kept them the next 3.

Playing at home and just having tons of fun cousin time!
A trip to Bob's Brain freeze
Hailey's hair looked pretty fun the next morning.
We spent the next day at Cherry Hill
I love Katie's outfits each day and this day was pretty funky fun!
Nate and Charlie loved floating around and around the lazy river with Dave
Andrew on the tube ride, with Ashley next
Ashley and then Lizzie
Hailey, Dave and Callie
Nate loves to drive his truck fast! He's a great driver and leans into the turns. It's hilarious!
Playing at the Reid School
Charlie and Nate tub time
Church for these cuties! (Joe and Callie went to their own ward). Our ward loved having the darling Farnsworth visitors.
Cute Kate
Charlie hates his own nursery, and didn't last very long in ours but, luckily most of my primary class was out of town so we merged with another class and I hung out in nursery with these best buddies.
Trampoline fun. Joe was there and that was the best.
Sleeping out on the tramp. These kids were in heaven with one fun thing after another.
Bowling!
Nate and Charlie working together
I love when my kids help each other without being asked. Here's Andrew helping Nathan.
The cousin crew (minus Joe and Callie who had left early that morning for basketball camp)
Monday is the day Nana babysits Lydia so she brought her bowling with us for a little bit.
Mini-golf. Hailey loves to do quote signs with her fingers. She doesn't know how to use it right so it's even more funny.
Nerf Gun wars
Sleeping in the basement
Breakfast
And then they got picked up and I was sad! Callie was off to her basketball camp, Lizzie and Will stayed at a friend's house in their neighborhood for 2 days and Charlie went to Marianne's for 2 days. The last day they were with Nana but, she was busy so we took them once more for a fun day. I really should've just kept them the whole time and kept the fun party going.

Our family went to the Clark Planetarium downtown. The exhibits are all free and super fun and interesting.

Dave was off on a weekend trip to Moab with the ward for Youth Conference
An evening at Canyon Rim Park. The kids loved all this cousin fun time and were happy, happy, happy all the time.
Hailey drew this Eiffel Tower masterpiece by looking at a tiny toy. I loved it!
Riding bikes and playing at the church parking lot.
 Andrew climbing the church wall
Ashley too. Though without shoes it wasn't very easy
We brought pinecones home from the church and painted them in the backyard. The kids planned to give them to their Dads for Father's Day the next morning.
 Relaxing with a show
The cousins went home to Nana's house to sleep (where they are living this year) and their parents arrived home early the next morning. We loved having them for almost the entire week and were sad to have them gone.
~
The next day was a Saturday and we didn't have to miss the cousins for long because it was their moving day and so we took the littler kids for a few hours to help make the moving easier.
A trip to the Holladay Park
Nate loves to jump on the tramp. His smile is adorable.
The next day was Father's Day Sunday. The kids were excited to give Dave the treasures they'd made him and tried to shower him with love all day.
Ashley and Ezra were the Birthday kiddos in Primary this week
 Our family after church
 Dave getting his gifts!
Happy, happy Father's Day to the best Dad around. The kids love him so much and are lucky to have such an involved Dad loves them so much too.
