Soccer is in full swing in September. Hailey runs hard and fast in her soccer games. She doesn't have an aggressive personality but, she gets in there pretty well for soccer and we are proud of her.
Pink sock Hailey in the lead running after the ball!
Dribbling towards the goal!
She scored! It was sooo exciting! She got her first soccer goal in a game and we were so happy for her. (The net goals were missing for the day and cones were used instead).
Horseback Riding with the Nielsen Family in Kamas is a special treat for our family.
Hailey and me
Ashley truly loves being with animals and feels very comfortable with them
Hailey was very brave this year and enjoyed riding the horses very much.
My guess is that Andrew doesn't want to be shown up by his very brave little sister and so he rides the horses and tries to be as comfortable as he can. From the outside he seems happy and looks great. Inside I'm not sure he is really enjoying it but, he has a good attitude, puts on his best face and tries his best.
Hailey and Colton Nielsen sharing a horse. Hailey's cute dimpled smile melts my heart every day.
When we aren't riding horses we're playing in the Nielsen's grandparent's big beautiful backyard
Kate didn't want to ride the horses but she had a wonderful time playing
Roasting hotdogs and marshmellows
A mid-September Sunday. Kate is still 2 years old but not for long!
They love tub time!
And art time
Ashley is loving playing all girl soccer! She was sad to leave her co-ed team but, is having so much fun with her friends and is loving that she is one of the best players out there! She is definitely the best on her team. She does well on defense but, her coach likes to keep her on offense because she can score! In this game she wore red socks and scored 2 goal of the teams 3 goals!
Team huddle on Ashley's head
Ashley's coach is Teagan's dad, Devin Chipman
We spent Saturday evening at a reunion for the Warnock family. Specifically, it was for the posterity of my grandparents Thomas Ward Warnock and Mary Roberts Warnock. (My grandpa died before my parents even married and my Grandma died when I was 7 years old, in 1987). They had 3 children; Marilyn, Richard and my Dad, Robert. The 3 children are spaced apart 5 years each with my Dad being youngest, and I am his youngest too, so my cousins are all much older than me. We didn't spend much time with them growing up so I don't even know the names of many of my cousins. The reunion was hosted by my cousin, Brent Warnock, son of Richard and Carol Warnock. Brent has an amazing home and enormous property in Bountiful. Their property is 2 giant lots so it feel more like a park than a backyard. We had a wonderful time.
