Jr. Jazz Basketball

Andrew just finished another fun season of Jr. Jazz. He played very well and had so much fun. Dave was the coach and enjoys that much more than any of the other sports. My pictures are all sub-par but, they are moving so fast that these are the few that aren't blurry.
Andrew has become a good dribbler, a great defender, great at passing to the right person/place and is also good at using bounce passes rather than only chest passes. He shoots pretty well too and always had a nice number of baskets. Andrew is good at anticipating and understanding, which is great. His team as a whole was very good, and so much better than most the others. Andrew gets goofy and I think he'd listen better if the Dave wasn't coach but, he really loves having Dave as his coach. At their age is mostly important that they have fun, which they definitely did! At this age there are a few who want to hog the ball, and a few that don't really care or quite register yet so, I'm pretty thrilled that Andrew is a good teammate, loves to play, is developing some good skills and is becoming a great player.
After Andrew does something great he usually does some sort of celebratory jump or fist pump. It is awesome.
The team picture; Liam, Matt, James, Andrew, Joey, Owen, Carson and Landon. (Seth and Luke missed picture day)
We invited all the basketball boys over for a pizza party and movie late over at the end of the season. They were so excited and had such a fun time. Andrew has a great group of friends.
