Spring Time

Hello Spring!

Ah, the weather has been amazing! We are loving so many warm days to play outside.
Hailey loves dogs just like her big sister. Here she is trying to peek at our neighbor's dog.

Getting so big!
The leprechaun's visited at Preschool on Thursday and our house on St. Patrick's Day. At home, they left a mess and lots of green treats and food. The kids loved every minute of it!
Hailey keeps us guessing because in many situations she is very shy and even cautious (complete opposite of Ashley) but, then one minute later she acts as wild and crazy as her always adventurous big brother and sister. Hailey does love the monster truck and screams every single time when her turn is over.
 Her personal chauffeur.
Ashley likes to shake her bum and laugh as they go by!
Hailey also loves tub time and can never seem to get enough!
Before the weather warmed up I got to go with Ashley's preschool class to a zoo field trip. She and I both love her two teachers and all the kids in her class are darling. She has a handful of favorites but, the top of that list has to be Benjamin (below). He came over for a play date last week and reminded me a lot of Andrew, so I understand why they get along so well!
Ashley's 3 year old preschool class (minus a teacher). Ashley is right in the middle.
Ashley has become a major Daddy's girl. She was so sad that Daddy didn't come on the field trip that we went back the following Saturday. It was a beautiful warm day and it was especially fun for Hailey, now that she is so big and aware.
Here is an example of timid Hailey - she was too terrified to ride on the carousel! What?!
Dave and the big kids had a great time at a Jazz game, and got their picture with this random power mascot. Ashley always loves when she gets to go and Andrew rarely wants to (because he says it's too loud) but, this time he had fun and loved it and wants to go again.

We've gone to the aquarium a few times this month, and we have been going to the Children's Museum a few times too. All fun, but not as good as the fun we've had at the park and just playing outside!
~
Here are a few gems from the recent weeks:
Ashley: "Mom, your bum is really big and mine isn't"
Ashley: "I wish mommy could go to work so Daddy can stay home with me."
(Ashley is sweet and funny and loving. She loves me and the things she says really make me laugh. She sure has been a Daddy's girl lately.)
Hailey: I was singing loudly while making breakfast. When I walked over to Hailey sitting in her highchair she stuck both fingers in her ears to plug them!
Hailey: She had her 18-month pediatrician visit and weighed in at a whopping.....drum roll please...18.8 lbs, still a ways off from getting on the chart but, growing nicely for her. Her height was in the 29th percentile, which is very nice. She is definitely the runt in nursery!
Andrew: No hilarious quotes this month but, boy oh boy do I love that boy! He keeps us all smiling and laughing and wishing time would slow down because he is becoming so grown up.

Sam is not even 4 months old and is at least 15 pounds :). She'll love having your amazing body when she's 16 (and 25, and 32). Your kids are seriously adorable.
