Summer makes me happy!

We have been really busy the past few weeks having fun, fun, fun and more fun.  

KAMAS: We went to the Nielsen's beautiful new home and property in Kamas and my kids LOVED it. They were so excited to ride horses and were as happy as could be the whole time...except for when it was time to get off the horses!

 Jeff and Dave guided them all around, it was beautiful. 

 Andrew especially liked riding with Josh because the horse went fast, and that put the biggest smile on Andrew's cute face!

 And fearless Ashley is always up for adventure. She has been talking about and pretending to be the horse named Hook ever since. 

BEAR LAKE: We went to Bear Lake with the Rowlands and had a great time, as always! We only wished we had been able to stay longer! (I only took a handful of pictures). Here's Andrew and Livie playing on the beach, Ashley was sleeping on the boat. 

 Shiloh dog came too which was probably our dog-lover's favorite part. 

FUN STUFF: I love our neighborhood! We have a great group of young families with lots of young kids. And I love these fun moms/friends who plan so many great activities! This group has already gone on tons of fun outings and had lots of big backyard summer play too, with lots more to come. One fun place was the aquarium. Here's some of the cute kids from our group, who were willing to stop for a picture.

SWIM LESSONS: Last week Andrew and Ashley had swim lessons with Spencer. He is awesome and his pool is my dream pool. Ashley likes Spencer so much, she must have a 3-year old's crush. Andrew loves lessons with Spencer too; because Spencer lets him be a little wild and they get to go in the hot tub afterwards. I love it because his house is just a couple streets away. 

Ashley got really good at diving for toys. 

 She is turning into a little fish!

 Andrew makes everyone a little nervous because he's just too confident and crazy in the water. He jumps from the side without telling anyone, and swims alone back to the steps, and he does just great. I really have to keep my eyes on him! This past week he learned to jump from the edge and then swim across the width of the pool alone but, he still needs constant watching because sometimes he can do it and sometimes he can't. 

 Andrew loves to shout yeehaw or other funny words when he jumps. He's a wild man!

 Ashley loves to shout Cannonball when she jumps in. It's so funny because she usually can't get the entire word out before she hits the water. 

Ahhhh....sweet summer.
