We spent this New Year's Eve at Dave's sister's, husband's, family's cabin (phew, that's quite the line). It was a super quick trip; almost exactly 24-hours from when we left our house to when we returned. We had a great time sledding, playing games, and letting the cousins play.
Ashley doesn't like the cold. A few times I thought she was kind-of having fun but, I'm not sure. I just kept dragging her up and down the sledding hill hoping she'd start enjoying it.
But instead she fell asleep!!! She slept like this, outside on the sled, for about 30 minutes! Finally we carried the sled inside to cabin on the floor, where she slept for another little while.

The kids loved being in the snow but, I think they had even more fun playing together inside. Here's a fun little game of steamroller.

This January is a big month for our family as far as Church goes! Andrew graduated from nursery and went to Sunbeams in Primary for his first time. He did so great!! He had lots of fun, likes his teacher and friends, and was picked as the 'Reverence Child' to stand up as an example. After church all the big kids (well bigger than him) on our street kept coming up to Andrew to give him five. Ashley is now 18-months and can go to nursery officially. She did awesome all by herself and didn't even cry! Our kids sure seem grown up! And, our ward schedule changed from 1PM to 9AM, hooray, hurrah! Church is so much more pleasant in the mornings, and the kids can have their afternoon naps which means no more Sunday night meltdowns! Here's to a happy and healthy 2010!

I love the picture of Ashley on the sled! It would be fun to have a cabin to go to for New Years. It is such an uneventful holiday with everything closed!

Looks like you had some fun holidays!! Darling pics!
