We got to babysit Charlie for a morning. Nate and Charlie actually play together pretty well, following each other around and being pretty cute. I always wanted twins and this just made me wish that had happened even more.
Nate loves to throw and shoot balls, climb things and is always ready to smile. Charlie is quiet, easy and likes to observe. They are both very sweet.

Andrew had his 3rd piano recital in Mid-March. He was nervous but, no one could tell. He looked so handsome and did a wonderful job. He was so happy to have it over with!
The kids made some great leprechaun traps this year. Lots of good ideas and clever building! They didn't manage to catch one but, the leprechauns did come and knock over all their traps and leave some fun treats.

A Friday afternoon group play date. Andrew had about 6 friends over, Ashley was gone to a friend's, Hailey and Kate each had one Johnsen over too.
Dave's back had been hurting so he was laying on a heating pad. Hailey and Kate dressed him up Princess style.
The ward east of us had some sort of a petting zoo activity going on. We were out for a walk and dropped in at the end of the activity. Nate loved this bunny and wanted to hold him forever. He really is the sweetest baby. My animal loving girls were so happy in the bunny cage.
We celebrated Easter a week early at Nana and Papa's house for Sunday dinner. We started with the traditional egg hunt. The kids each receive a different color bucket that matches their specific eggs. Such a great way to keep the egg hunt fair and fun.
I bought Hailey this floral romper outfit a month ago or so. It quickly became her favorite and she wore it about every other day...just as soon as it came through the wash. She is very picky about what she wears and is easily annoyed by any tags or itchy things. She looks so adorable in this romper and gets so many compliments in it. Dave thinks it looks like drapes. Sadly, after all that wear, the knees got big holes about a week after these pictures and it's not available from the store anymore.

Andrew was such a good sport to keep Nate company at the little table. Nate sure looks up to him.
Papa and Nana's cat is named Bowser (named by Ashley a few years ago). Bowser isn't friendly and Nate can't stand it. Nate tries to coax the cat out from under the bed and loves to watch him.
Hailey finished up a session of tumbling and had a showcase for parents to come watch. She did so great! After warmup each child showed a routine alone. Hailey doesn't generally like to perform alone like that but she didn't seem nervous at all. She did so great. I don't have still pictures of the routine because I videoed that instead.
They each got a little medal which is sort of silly but, they love it.

Dave couldn't come to Hailey's showcase so we met him at McDonald's for a special lunchtime to celebrate Hailey's great job.
McDonald's play land. The kids love it here. I can't get over how full of germs it is, so the kids all had tubs as soon as we got home.
The next night was Ashley's tumbling showcase. Nate had a great time playing in the mirror and shaking the barre. I'm always so grateful for my bigger kids who help out with the babies during these types of things so that Dave and I can cheer on the performers.

Afterwards Ashley chose for us to all go to Walmart and let the kids spend $2 each on a treat.
